1. Do not use eyeshadow if you have an eye infection as this will aggravate the problem. You could also pass the bacteria on to the eyeshadow
2. Make sure you brush and floss your teeth twice a day to avoid plaque.
3. High heels over 1.5 inches could lead to broken and twisted ankles as well as knee and back strain
4. It's not just coughs and sneezes that spread diseases. One single bacteria cell can multiply to become more than 8 million cells in less than 24 hours. Just imagine what's on the tap handle you just touched.

Some viruses causes common cold and flu, but they are both spread through the air in tiny droplets produced when an infected person coughs or sneezes When you sneeze your body is getting rid of infected cells and an average sneeze will spread over 100,000 virus cells up to 30 feet. In case you were wondering, people suffering from a cold can spread the virus from two days before the symptoms of the Sickness starts and up to three days.
6. Flies can't eat solid food. They vomit on food to make it soft before sucking it back up. Flies will eat anything from poo, to your roast dinner. A typical bowel movement can contain up to 100 billion disease-causing organisms some of which end up in the air. So be careful while Cleaning!
7. Don't neglect your beard. If you do it will smell like a sweaty armpit. Dirty beards harbor the same smelly bacteria that live in smelly armpits.

The International Space Station

After 15years of construction, harrowing space works and repairs the ISS ( International Space Station ) is still in orbit around Earth.

1. The estimated total cost of the station is $100 Billion, the ISS is the most expensive single object ever built by mankind. Roughly half of the total price was contributed by the USA, the rest by other nations including Europe, Japan and Russia.

2. The Total Length of the station in Meters (109m). Its about the length of the united states Football Field.

3. In the year 2001, Dennis Tito, an American Multimillionaire Entrepreneur became the first person ever to fly to the station as a personal funded space tourist. He spent about $20 Million for the flight and stayed for Eight days before coming back to Earth.

4. It’s moving at 17,240 mph

5. The first mission to the ISS was on 2 November 2000 and since then it has been continuously occupied. 70 manned missions on Space Shuttles and Soyuz spacecraft have flown to the ISS, while over 60 unmanned vehicles have docked with the station.

6. It’s the most expensive object ever built

7. It weighs more than 320 cars, It weighs 420,000 kilograms (925,000 pounds), which is more than 320 automobiles.

1. Left-wing candidate Michelle Bachelet has been elected Chilean President for a 2nd time. Ms. Bachelet won 62 percent of the votes, easily defeating her conservative rival, Evelyn Matthei, who got only 37 percent in the worst performance by the right in two decades.

2. India's forex reserves rose for the fifth consecutive week, adding 4.41 billion US dollar to 295.71 billion US dollar in the week ended December 6 on account of a rise in foreign currency assets, the Reserve Bank today said.

3. Indian Idol winner Sandeep Acharya passes away. Sandeep Achaya, who won the second season of Indian Idol in 2006, passed away at a Gurgaon hospital on Sunday. The 29-year-old singer, who hailed from Rajasthan, had been suffering from jaundice for a fortnight.

4. A statue of Nelson Mandela, South Africa's first black president, has been unveiled in the capital, Pretoria, a day after he was buried.

5. CVR Rajendran was on 13 December 2013 appointed as the Chairman and Managing Director of Andhra Bank. He was appointed by Union Ministry of Finance, Government of India.

6. Ethiopian runner Atsedu Tsegay on 15 December 2013 won the Men's Delhi Half Marathon (21.097 km) by creating a new race record. Tsegay clocked 59 minutes 10 seconds beating the previous record of 59 minutes 15 seconds held by Deriba Merga since 2008.

7. The West Bengal government has decided to launch insurance coverage for the Ganga Sagar pilgrims this year. Giving this information in Kolkata, state disaster management Minister Javed Khan said that under the insurance coverage, five lakh rupees compensation will be given in the event of death of any pilgrim and 50,000 rupees each for the injured.

8. Andy Murray, the first British tennis player to win the Wimbledon in 77 years, was crowned the 'BBC Sports Personality of the Year'.

9. The International Cricket Council (ICC) has suspended West Indies offspinner Shane Shillingford from bowling in international matches because of illegal action.
